As a qualified RLSS lifeguard, outdoor first aider, experienced Scout leader and general lover of the outdoors and fitness, I am dedicated to creating safe, supportive environments for all adventurers. With a strong background as a qualified teacher and an enthusiastic open‑water and wild swimmer, I blend knowledge, experience, and encouragement to inspire confidence both in and out of the water. Whether it is your first experience to open water swimming, confidence in building your wild swimming journey or help to enjoy outdoor water safely, AG Training can support you to grow your passion for the outdoors, safely.
My Story
Welcome to AG Training!
I’ve spent 20 years working as a qualified languages teacher and have been a part of Scouting since childhood. I currently balance my teaching role with working as an RLSS lifeguard and offering wild swim walks and inductions to people new to wild swimming*.
Growing up by the sea sparked my love of open water, and since 2012 I’ve taken part in numerous OW events and enjoy weekly swims at a range of outdoor venues as well as wild dips while hiking with my family. Outdoor swimming brings peace and tranquility to my life and is something I am passionate about sharing with others. I qualified as an RLSS lifeguard in 2024 and have since worked across multiple open water locations, most recently delivering Cold Water Induction courses throughout spring and winter to help beginners enjoy open water with confidence.​​

I am constantly learning and updating my qualifications so that I can continue to deliver more experiences to appreciate the great outdoors safely! Watch this space for more services and locations in the near future!
